i think it's really interesting the way itunes (or p2p, or whatever) impacts the way we experience albums...like, even though shake the sheets is one of my favorite albums and i've listened to it about a million times, i don't think i'd ever seen the cover art before. is that sad? or is it just progress? i don't know.

Dude, I had no idea you liked Portishead. "Sour Times" is a classic.

I'm rev'ed to pick up Robert Plant's new CD "Mighty Rearranger" because A) I'm a huge Led Zeppelin fan and B) I heard that Plant's band The Strange Sensation consists of members of Portishead. Zeppelin and Portishead would make for an eerie combination, n'est pas?

Hope things are going well in D.C.

You have great taste in music and your art work is very interesting. If your interested a friend of mine has a tiny gallery in St. Louis Park and we are always looking for new art buddies. I have a blogger that you can comment on if you'd like a new friend.

Although, I've never heard of any of the bands or music that you have listed above, I'm sure they all have a fantastic unique quality to them if the "pretty cool" guy picked them out. Thanks to this "pretty cool" friend of mine, I have come to appreciate awesome bands such as Radiohead and Stereolab. Thanks man. I'm crazy about both bands.

I am embarrassed to admit that this is my first time making a post on your website. My apologies. Hope you're having a good time in D.C. There's still a chance I might join you out there.
